Africa-Press – Rwanda. President Paul Kagame has promoted 2,430 junior officers of the Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF).
According to a statement issued by RDF Tuesday, March 28, of those promoted include 1,119 lieutenants who were promoted to the rank of captain while 1,311 second lieutenants were promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
The statement indicates that the new promotions take immediate effect.
