Africa-Press – Rwanda. President Paul Kagame on Friday, October 3, commissioned 1,029 officer cadets who completed months of training at the passing-out ceremony held at the Rwanda Military Academy, Gako in Bugesera District.
Among the officers, 117 are women. The cohort includes 42 officers who received training in partner countries, alongside those who completed a one-year military training course at the academy.
It also includes graduates of the four-year Social and Military Sciences degree program, as well as officers who completed a nine-month course.
The ceremony was attended by senior military officers, government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, the officers’ families and friends.
