Africa-Press – Rwanda. Seven officers from Rwanda National Police (RNP) have completed eight-week professional training programmes at the Egyptian Police Academy.

The officers participated in four specialised courses aimed at enhancing their professional competence, leadership capacity, and fostering bilateral cooperation between the two police institutions.

Inspector of Police (IP) Emmanuel Gahigana emerged as the best international participant in the Community Policing and Human Rights Protection course and was honoured by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the graduation ceremony of police cadets held on October 8.

Assistant Inspector of Police (AIP) Jean de Dieu Tuyisenge also attended the same course.

The Security Crisis Management course was completed by IP Jonathan Uwindamutsa, while Chief Inspector of Police (CIP) Eric Shyaka and AIP Enock Rukundo undertook the Counter International Terrorism course.

Meanwhile, the Developing Leadership Skills programme featured CIP Enock Nkorerimana and CIP Byiringiro Mutijima.
