Etincelles Vs Police FC (Umuganda Stadium, Rubavu)
Kick-off: 3pm
League leaders Police FC travel to Rubavu on Saturday to face Etincelles FC in what striker Elijah Ani has described as a tricky test in the Rwanda Premier League.
The law enforcers, who sit top of the table with 26 points, visit Umuganda Stadium knowing that only a win will help them maintain their lead at the summit.
Speaking ahead of the trip, Ani said Police FC are determined to keep their momentum despite the difficulty of the fixture.
“It is a very tricky fixture for sure, but it is also a good test for us as we want to win and remain at the top,” Ani told the press.
“We must be at our best. At this level, you need to win more games to stay among the top teams. We are going for three points.”
Police FC remain the only unbeaten side in the league after 12 matches, having recorded seven wins and five draws. They have scored 12 goals and conceded just five so far this season.
Elsewhere, Musanze will host AS Muhanga at Ubworoherane Stadium while Amagaju will face Mukura at Kamena Stadium.
