Africa-Press – Rwanda. APR FC will play a friendly match against Power Dynamos of Zambia, on the day dubbed “Umunsi w’Igitinyiro”, scheduled for August 17 at Amahoro Stadium.
The military side will represent Rwanda in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League and Power Dynamos seem to be a good test for their preparation of the continental campaign.
This is the first international friendly match that APR FC will host since 2017.
The black and white team continues to play various pre-season matches in preparation for the new football season, which is expected to start in September.
APR FC lost 2-0 against Gorilla FC before the two clubs played a 2-2 sraw in the second match of the week. Both matches were played at club’s trainign base in Shyorongi.
The club also beat Gasogi United 4-1 and Intare FC 4-0.
Adel Abderrahman’s side returns to action on Sunday, August 3, 2025, when they face Police FC at the Kigali Pelé Stadium starting at 3:00AM.
The club is also discussing friendly matches against Tanzania’s Simba SC and Azam FC as well as South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs.
