Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda Premier League (RPL) defending champions APR FC have officially announced the signing of Burkinabe striker Cheick Djibril Ouatarra.
The 25-year-old centre-forward has been a free agent since January 6, having spent half a season with Algerian outfit JS Kabylie.
Ouatarra has also previously featured for Moroccan giants RS Berkane. He has played 120 games in all competitions in his professional club career netting 21 goals and providing 5 assists.
On the international scene, he made his debut for Burkina Faso in a 2018 CHAN Group D game against Cameroon on January 24, 2018.
He has gone on to earn 15 caps, scoring twice.
APR have been very poor upfront with Mamadou Sy scoring two goals this season which were all penalties while Victor Mbaoma is yet to find the back of the net.
