Africa-Press – Rwanda. Colonel Richard Karasira, the Chairman of APR FC, on Friday, April 5, revealed that the club’s fitness coach, Dr. Adel Zrane, died of a heart attack.
The Tunisian coach was found dead in his house on Tuesday, April 2.
Karasira made the revelation during a solemn farewell ceremony held at the club’s headquarters in Kimihurura in honour of Zrane as his body was set to be repatriated to his country.
He cited an autopsy report carried out by medics on Thursday, April 4,
The solemn event was attended by the club’s coaching staff, players, fans, media, and members of Zrane’s family.
Prior to joining APR FC in 2023, Zrane enjoyed a successful fitness coaching career in Tanzania, where he was part of Simba SC’s journey of winning multiple championship titles in the Tanzanian Premier League.
