Africa-Press – Rwanda. APR Basketball Club has added to its roster American point guard Chasson Randle and Senegalese centre Youssou Ndoye, ahead of the 2025 Basketball Africa League (BAL) Nile Conference season five that is set to tip off in May in Kigali.
Randle, 32, is a 1.85m guard who boasts experience with NBA teams such as the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic, as well as Real Madrid in Spain.
He has also played for the Stockton Kings and Iowa Wolves in the NBA G League. Randle is fresh off a championship-winning season with the Stockton Kings in the 2024–2025 G League campaign.
On the international stage, he represented the USA at the U16 FIBA Americas Championship in Argentina in 2009.
Ndoye, 33, is a 2.13m centre known for his dominance in the paint and leadership on the court. He has played for various clubs including Daegu KOGAS Pegasus in the Korean Basketball League, Austin Spurs in the NBA G League, JL Bourg in France, and Coosur Real Betis in Spain, among others.
Last month, APR, on Saturday, also announced two big signings as American shooting Jordan McRae and former French national team player Nobel Boungou Colo joined.
