Africa-Press – Rwanda. Amavubi and Rayon Sports striker Abeddy Biramahire will travel to Algeria to complete his move to Entente Sportive Sétifienne (ESS) on Sunday, July 27.

According to sources, Rayon Sports and the Algerian club reached a positive agreement after several days of discussions.

Just a few weeks ago, Biramahire had signed a one-year contract with Blues before ES Sétif tabled a transfer fee of $30,000 (Rwf 43 million) to buy the player’s release clause.

As of now, ES Sétif are in Tunisia for their preseason training camp, and Biramahire is expected to join the squad once the transfer is finalized.

If all goes as planned, Rutsiro FC striker Yves Habimana will join Rayon Sports as Biramahire’s replacement.

Muhazi United appoint Rubona as head coach

Former APR FC and Intare coach Emmanuel Rubona had signed one-year deal with Muhazi United as club prepares for a return to topflight football. Rubona succeeds Emmanuel Ruremesha who left to join top division side Musanze FC.

Meanwhile, newly promoted side Gicumbi FC has completed the signing of Jean Petit Nzeyimana and Djuma Ntibazonkiza from Burundian top tier side Rukinzo FC. The duo signed a two-year deal each.
