Africa-Press – Rwanda. The United States has named a squad of 23 riders to represent the country at the 2025 UCI RoadWorld Championships in Kigali from September 12-28.

he team will compete across the Under-23, Elite, and Junior categories, with both men and women represented.

With four road world titles and seven track world titles since 2015, Chloe Dygert, currently riding for Canyon–SRAM ZondaCrypto Women’s Team, will be one of the headline riders.

Along her is Magnus Sheffield, a 22-year-old rising talent who recently won the final stage at the 2025 Paris–Nice, one of the sport’s toughest races.

The two riders join Tour de France Femmes 2025 and Olympic mountain bike champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, and men’s Elite 2024 UCI world champion Tadej Pogačar, among riders to watch the world’s most prestigious cycling event coming to Africa, and Rwanda in particular, for the first time.

The U.S. becomes the latest country to release rosters for the World Championship after France, Australia, and New Zealand.

Team USA roster is as follows:

Elite Men: Will Barta, Luke Lamperti, Magnus Sheffield, Quinn Simmons, Kevin Vermaerke, Larry Warbasse

Elite Women: Chloe Dygert, Ruth Edwards

U23 Men: Evan Boyle, Cole Kessler

U23 Women: Mia Aseltine, Helena Jones, Ella Sabo, Katherine Sarkisov

Junior men: Kashus Adamski, Ashlin Barry, Beckam Drake, Enzo Hincapie, Braden Reitz

Junior Women: Lidia Cusack, Liliana Edwards, Alexis Jaramillo, Alyssa Sarkisov
