Africa-Press – Rwanda. South Sudanese opposite attacker James Nhial Achille has completed his move to East African University Rwanda (EAUR) on one-year deal.
Achille’s transfer was confirmed by club head coach Vincent Dusabimana on Thursday.
The transfer ended his two-year spell with Police VC. He becomes EAUR’s second and last signing of this window following Tanzanian receiver-attacker Omary Bure Hassan, who recently signed a two-year contract.
“Achille is our final addition to the squad. He’s an experienced player, and our goal is to give young, talented players a platform to grow. This season, we’ll focus on building team chemistry and consistency,” Dusabimana told Times Sport.
During his time with Police VC, Achille played a key role as the team reached the 2024/25 playoff finals where they lost the championship to APR VC. He also helped the club win the 2025 Liberation Cup and the Kayumba Memorial Tournament.
