Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda again lost to Egypt in Wednesday’s final of the Africa sitting volleyball championships at Kasarani Indoor Stadium.

The loss extended Rwanda’s winless record against the African giants to 16 years.

Egypt have been in high flying form throughout the campaign, and they still looked unstoppable against Mosaad Elaiuty’s charges, winning the final in three straight sets 25-21, 25-13 25-20 to lift the trophy.

Despite the defeat, Rwanda will, alongside Egypt, represent Africa at the 2025 Sitting Volleyball World Cup in Fort Wayne.

Meanwhile, the Rwanda women’s team won the African championship and eventually qualified for the 2026 World Championships in Hangzhou, China.
