Four Rwandan Prospects Chosen for FIBA Africa Camp

Africa-Press – Rwanda. Four Rwandan basketball prospects Enzo Mandi, Keita Mohammed, Alpha Ishimwe and Raissa Ndaruhutse have been selected to join the 2025 FIBA Africa Regional Youth Camp which will take place at Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall in Cairo, Egypt.

The girls’ camp is scheduled for October 12-15, where it will feature a series of training sessions, fun but competitive games, and workshops led by experienced coaches and former professional players including Beninese-born, former France national team star Isabelle Yacoubou.

Meanwhile, the boys’ camp will take place from October 19-22, where similar high-quality training sessions, drills, and games will be undertaken.

All the four Rwandans selected for the program represented the country in the 2025 U16 Afrobasket in Kigali.

Selected rising basketball talents at the camps will focus on improving their understanding of the game while nurturing essential skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication, which are key attributes that will serve them well throughout their life.

With over 18 African countries represented, this camp will be a melting pot of rich, diverse talents and cultures that the great continent of Africa is famous for.

The camp will also bring together various ideas and ideologies, making it a fantastic platform for personal growth and networking.
