Forward Josias King-Furaha came from the bench to score the second goal in the 86th minute for FK Jerv who beat Traeff 2-0 in the Norwegian second tier league on Saturday.
Kwizera, Kavita square up in draw game
Rwanda internationals Jojea Kwizera and Phanuel Kavita turned from teammates to rivals when their clubs Rhode Island FC and Birmingham Legion settled for a 1-1 draw at the Centreville Stadium on Saturday.
Jojea played the entire match while Kavita had 57 minutes of action.
Rhode Islands FC are 9th on the league table with 16 points after 15 games whereas Birmingham Legion sit 10th.
Sahabo looking to cement place at Liege
Hakim Sahabo was in action for Standard Liege who defeated Maastricht 2-0 in a preseason friendly on Friday. The Rwanda international is aiming to stay at Liege and fight for a place during the 2025/26 Jupiler Pro League season.
Manzi back to action
Centre back Thierry Manzi was named in the starting 11 of Al Ahli Tripoli after returning from injury but their game with Abusalem did not happened after their opponents failed to show up. Al Ahli thus qualified to the quarterfinals of the Libyan Cup.
Guelette excels despite Raal defeat
Midfielder Samuel Gueulette was in action for newly promoted Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Raal La Louviere who lost 1-0 to KV Mechelen in a friendly game on Saturday at Gemeentelijk Parkstadion. Despite the loss, Gueulette had an impressive game where he marshaled the RAAL midfield.

Doyle Kamari set for Bristol City move
Attacking midfielder Doyle Kamari is set to move to English Championship club Bristol City on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 19-year-old spent, who was born to Rwanda and English parents, was on loan at Crawley Town last season where he scored seven goals in 21 games.
Ntwari to start preseason with Kaizer Chiefs despite exit rumors
Goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari is expected to fly to join his Kaizer Chiefs teammates for a two-week preseason which will take place in the Netherlands, starting Monday.
Ntwari and several players including captain Yusuf Maart did not have their visa on time and couldn’t join the team when they left on Thursday. The preseason offers Ntwari a great opportunity to reclaim the No 1 spot as he looks to turn downs offers to fight for a place in Chiefs starting 11.
The preseason will run until July 19.
