Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda inernational Yves Habimana has completed his move to Rwanda Premier League side Rayon Sports.
Habimana had one year left on his contract with Rutsiro FC and Rayon had to pay Rwf8 million to buy his release clause.
The club brought his after losing Abeddy Biramahire who moved to Algerian side ES Setif for a two-year deal.
Habimana, who arrived at Rutsiro FC from Gorilla FC, scored eight goals in the 2024/25 season and he was called in the national team Amavubi.
His arrival at the club is expected to boost Rayon’s attack as they prepare the new season which will see them represent Rwanda at CAF Confederation Cup, starting with Tanzanian side Singida Black Stars in the first round.
