Africa-Press – Rwanda. APR Handball Club has beefed up its squad by signing three players from rivals Police Handball Club ahead of upcoming competitions.
The new signings include goalkeeper Jackson Uwimana, commonly known as Daduwa, along with Alexis Nshimiyimana, Viateur Rwamanywa, and Yves Umuhire, all of whom previously played for Police HC.
Reports indicate that the newly signed players will not feature in Game 3 of the playoff finals, scheduled for next Friday.
Meanwhile, Police HC edged APR HC 26-25 in Game 1 and followed it up with a 36-30 win in Game 2, taking a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five finals series. They now stand just one victory away from clinching the title.
The finals will resume over the weekend of June 13–15 at Petit Stade.
