Kepler vs Tigers
United Generation Basketball (UGB) head coach Yves Murenzi has expressed confidence that his team can secure a victory over newcomers Azomco when the two clubs face off in the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) on Wednesday, March 26, at Petit Stade indoor gymnasium.
The game tips off at 6:30 PM.
UGB have been enjoying a good season so far, sitting in fourth place on the league table with 12 points, while AZOMCO are currently at the bottom of the standings despite winning their first ever topflight league match over the weekend when they beat Kepler 89-87.
A win would see UGB maintain their grip on the fourth place and boost their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.
“For us, every game is a must-win. That is the target we set for ourselves at the start of each season; so, we will go into the game against Azomco looking to win,” Murenzi told Times Sport.
In another game, Kepler will face Tigers at 9:00 PM at Petit Stade.
APR currently lead the league table with 22 points, while REG are in second place with 17 points.
