Africa-Press – Rwanda. Christian Ishimwe’s second-half goal was enough to move Police FC back to the summit of the Rwanda Premier League table after a narrow 1-0 win over for new promoted AS Muhanga at Kigali Pele Stadium on Sunday, October 5.
Police had struggled to find the back of the net until Ishimwe broke the deadlock with a superb finish from inside the box in the 72nd minute to make it nine points from their three straight wins.
His performance earned him a Man of the Match prize Rfw100,000.
Police’s bright start to the season signals Ben Mousa’s ambitions to succeed where his predecessors failed by delivering the title to the club which has never won it before.
