Africa-Press – Rwanda. President Paul Kagame has complimented French giants Paris Saint-Germain after winning their first ever UEFA Champions League on Saturday night.

Luis Enrique’s “Parisiens” gave Italy’s Inter Milan a 5-0 mauling in the final at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, to end their European Cup drought, becoming only the second French club to win the competition after Olympique de Marseille in 1993.

Achraf Hakimi, Désiré Doué, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and substitute Senny Mayulu were all on target to Qatari-owned club’s historic victory.

Kagame whose country partners the French champions through the “Visit Rwanda” initiative took to his X page to commend PSG for the historic achievement.

“Congratulations PSG…what a game/joy to watch!? You did Fans and partners proud.:):)” the head of state said in a post.
