Africa-Press – Rwanda. The draw for the 2025 Men’s African Volleyball Club Championship which took place in Misurata, Libya, on Friday night, April 18, left debutants Kepler VC placed in Group C while Rwandan champions find themselves in Group D alongside Egypt’s Al Nassr Sporting Club.

The 46th edition of the African club championship, which kicks off Saturday, April 19, features 24 of the continent’s top volleyball clubs divided into four pools.

The stakes are high, with teams vying not only for the African title but also for the opportunity to represent the continent at the Volleyball Club World Cup due in the Philippines from September 12-28.

Historically, holders Al Ahly Sporting Club, now pooled in Group B, is the tournament’s most decorated club with 16 trophies. They are followed by Tunisian Club Sportif Sfaxien Volleyball Club, who won the tournament six times. They will, however, not be participating in this year’s edition.
