Africa-Press – Rwanda. Algerian outside hitter Radhi Krid Mohammed has completed his move to Kepler VC on a one-year contract ahead of the new volleyball season which kicks off on October 17.

The 25-year-old, who stands at 1.95m, joined the college club as a replacement for Yves Mutabazi, who moved to Gisagara VC.

Mohammed brings valuable experience from his home country, Algeria, where he helped Vice-President Club win the 2023/24 Algerian Volleyball League Championship.

Before signing Mohammed, Kepler VC made key adjustments to its coaching staff by appointing Cameroonian tactician Jean Patrice Ndaki Mboulet on a two-year contract after his departure from Rwanda Energy Group (REG). The club will also welcome back David Evarist Neeke, who is returning after a season-long spell on the sidelines.

Mohammed now joins Neeke, Cedrick Kageruka, and Romeo Ngabo Rwamuhizi (currently recovering from surgery) as the team’s fourth receiver-attacker.

Together with the rest of the squad, they carry a mission to restore Kepler’s glory after finishing fourth in the 2023/24 season, narrowly losing to REG VC in a decisive tie-breaker.
