Africa-Press – Rwanda. APR FC has announced the appointment of Lt Col Richard Karasira as the new club chairman.
Karasira replaces outgoing General Mubarakh Muganga who left the position after three years of service following his recent appointment as new Chief of Defense Staff.
The club also named Francois Regis Uwayezu as the Vice Chairman.
Uwayezu is not new to football administration in Rwanda as he returns to the fold two years after he resigned from his position as the secretary general of football governing body (Ferwafa), a position he held since 2018.
APR, who last reached the semifinals of a CAF Competition two decades ago, will be hoping to go all out and at least get to the group stages of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.
