Africa-Press – Rwanda. AS Kigali FC has strengthened its squad with the signing of Rwandan defender Isaac Mitima and Burundian goal keeper Patient Ndikuriyo.

Mitima, 23, penned a one-year deal after parting ways with Shabab Baalbeck SC of Lebanon. The Rwanda international has previously played for APR FC, Rayon Sports, and Police FC locally, and had spells abroad with Al-Zulfi in Saudi Arabia and Sofapaka in Kenya.

Ndikuriyo, meanwhile, sealed a two-year contract less than 24 hours after leaving Rayon Sports by mutual consent. The Burundian international, who also featured for Amagaju during his time in Rwanda, brings experience between AS Kigali’s goal posts.

AS Kigali has also added Congolese forward Jesus Mokolo Ducapel, who was most recently at ES Mostaganem in Algeria. Mokolo, a former Young Africans SC player between 2021 and 2023, joins the club as a free agent.
