Africa-Press – Rwanda. Mukura VS will spend the budged in excess of Rwf 400 million during the 2025/26 season, according to club Managing Director Protais Musoni.
Musoni revealed the budget during the club’s general assembly held at Light House Hotel, in Huye, on Sunday, August 31, during which several issues were discussed, including a review of the club’s performance over the past two seasons (2023–2025) and the vision for the next three years.
Huye District, the club’s main sponsor, will contribute Rwf170 million to the budget, Rwf 37 million will come from partners and the club will raise the remain portion of the budget from members of the club, fans clubs and jersey and ticket sales.
The contributions from club members are projected to range between Rwf 62 million and Rwf102 million, while sale of 2,000 jerseys are expected to generate around Rwf20 million.
Regarding revenue collection from tickets sales, the club introduced season tickets in five categories for its supporters:’ Inkingi ticket’ will be sold at Rwf 3,000,000, Imena at 1,000,000, Ingenzi at Rwf 500,000, Umukunzi ticket at Rwf 100,000 and Mukura Twaje, the lowest one, Rwf 20,000.
With the budget, club president Yves Nyirigira declared that Mukura VS stand in the right position to compete for the title.
“We are going to use Rwf400 million this season. I can say it puts us under pressure to win the league title, but we are capable of achieving it,” Nyirigira said.
The stadium revenues, may however, not come in as projected as Mukura will start the season playing at Stade Kamena considering that their home venue, Huye Stadium, is under renovation.
The club hopes to return to its usual home stadium by mid-October or November.
” The engineers told us that within one to two months, the renovation of Huye Stadium will be completed, and we’ll return to host our games there,” Nyirigira said.
Mukura will begin the Rwanda Premier League campaign hosting Musanze FC on September 13 at Kamena Stadium.
