Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda Premier League side Musanze FC have offloaded six senior players to pave way for new signings ahead of new season.
The players may find new clubs after they were told that they are part of new head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha’s plans next season.
“The players have been told to pursue their career somewhere else because they no longer fit in the plans of the club,” the club said in a statement on Wednesday.
Among players released include Valeur Nduwayo, goalkeeper Steven Ntaribi, Gad Ndizeye, Clément Nshimiyimana, Elissa Tinyimana and Christophe Uwiringiyimana.
Although they all had one year remaining on their contracts the club agreed to pay them two months’ salary as severance pay.
Musanze FC have reinforced their squad by signing Charles Mutsinzi and Emmanuel Fils Niyitanga from Sunrise FC. Each player signed a two-year deal.
Elsewhere, Nigerian center back Isaac Ezeh has signed a two-year contract with AS Kigali.
Ezeh previously featured for Bugesera FC in the 2023/24 season and played for La Jeunesse in the second division during 2024/25.

AS Kigali also extended the contract of their captain Janvier Jijia Benedata until 2027 while Arsène Tuyisenge completed also completed his loan move to the club for one year.
