The towering centre back’s contract expires on June 30 and, asked on his future, he said he is committed to staying as long as the club wants him to sign a new deal.
“I am ready to stay at the club if they are open to extending my contract,” Nshimiyimana told Times Sport.
He also indicated that the draw with APR is more of a preparatory outing ahead of Rayon Sports’ clash at Rubavu.
“The game with APR is more of a training encounter ahead of our match against Rayon Sports. We are looking forward to the match and we are prepared to face them.”
Nshimiyimana, 33, has been a revelation in the heart of defense for the Rubavu-based club in the second round of the league churning out consistent performances.
