Africa-Press – Rwanda. The grand finale of the 2023 PMC golf tournament will take place at the Kigali Golf Resort and Villas on Saturday, December 16.
The five-month event started in July with 192 participants and only a few are vying for honors as the tournament hits the finals stage.
The PMC Golf tournament has been one of the notable events on the Rwandan Golf calendar since its inception in 2015 and it always attracts expatriate golfers across the globe who come to compete for honors.
Innocent Rutamu won the 2022 edition after defeated PMC CEO Eugene Mulengheka, budding amateur golfer Rabin Bista, and then defending Champion James Muigai to win the laurel.
Other previous winners are Kelly Doran in 2016, Kennedy Mirichu in 2017, Bheki Mthembu in 2018, Arthur Mugunga in 2019 and James Muigai in 2021. There was no competition in 2020, the year when the sports sector was hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
