Rayon Signs Duo Ahead of Super Cup Clash with APR FC

Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rayon Sports FC on Monday announced the signings of Beninese forward Bienvenu Joachim Vigninou and Congolese centre-back Ramazani Tshimanga Tshilembi as the club continues to strengthen its squad during the January transfer window.

Vigninou, 22, and Tshilembi, 23, are both eligible to feature for Rayon Sports in the 2025 Super Cup clash against APR FC at Amahoro Stadium on Saturday, January 10.

Vigninou most recently played for Beninese top tier club Loto Popo.

While he adds attacking depth to the squad, the club expects Tshilembi to provide much-needed defensive reinforcement. The former Real Kashmir FC defender is expected to bring strength, aerial dominance and solidity to the heart of the defence as he fills the void left by Youssou Diagne, who is sidelined for more than three months through injury.

Tshimanga Tshilembi joined Rayon Sports after a spell with Indian side Real Kashmir FC, whom he had represented since 2024. Prior to his move to Asia, he featured for Cape Town City in the South African Premier League.

Tshilembi rose through the youth ranks of JS Groupe Bazano in Lubumbashi, DR Congo, before earning a move to AS Vita Club during the 2021/2022 season. He has also been called up to the DR Congo U20 national team and was part of the squad that competed at the Jeux de la Francophonie in Abidjan in 2017.

With the arrival of Vigninou and Tshilembi, Rayon Sports have now completed four signings in the January transfer window. Congolese defender Yannick Bangala Litomba and Amavubi goalkeeper Olivier Kwizera both signed short-term deals with the club last week.
