Africa-Press – Rwanda. English League One side Reading FC have submitted a bid to sign Rwandan prospect Doyle Kamari on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Kamari, 19, spent the 2024/24 season on loan at Crawley Town where he scored 7 goals in 21 league games.

Reading have already acquired fellow Brighton youngster Mark O’ Mahoney on loan and they have now switched their attention to Kamari as they look to reinforce their midfield department.

Born in Bristol, England, to a Rwandan father and an English-Jamaican mother, Kamari has represented England from U17 to U20 levels in international football, making a combined 10 appearances. He can, however, still feature for Amavubi.

In 2024, he stated his desire to play senior national team football and emphasized his doors are open to any of the countries he is eligible to feature for.

The youngster is also on the radar of championship club Bristol City.
