Rwandan players abroad: Brace-hero Nshuti aims for more

Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda international striker Innocent Nshuti has pledged to keep scoring and helping his team after coming off the bench to net a brace in ES Zarzis’ 3-0 victory over Olympique Béja on Sunday, October 26 in the Tunisian Ligue 1.

Nshuti, who was introduced in the 62nd minute, made an immediate impact, finding the back of the net just a minute later before doubling his tally in the 73rd minute. His two goals sealed an emphatic win for ES Zarzis and brought his personal tally to five goals in ten games this season.

“Scoring two goals means a lot to me,” Nshuti said after the match. “I want to keep working hard to score as many goals as possible. This performance gives me great motivation to stay consistent and keep improving so I can help both my team and myself.”

The win lifted Espérance Sportive de Zarzis to fourth place in the Tunisian Ligue 1 standings with 20 points.

Interestingly, Nshuti’s brace came against a side featuring his compatriot Anicet Ishimwe, who plays for Olympique Béja.
