Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwandan midfielder Samuel Gueulette has been nominated for the RAAL La Louviere player of the month award for April.
The 24-year-old midfielder will be competing for the accolade alongside Maxence Maisonneuve, Djibril Lamego and Algerian forward Mohammed Belkheir.
Gueulette was instrumental in the last month of the 2024/25 Belgian Challenger Pro League season as RAAL booked their ticket to the top flight by finishing second on the table behind Zulte Waregem.
He played 90 minutes in each of the two games RAAL played in April against Francs Borains and Lommel SK. He scored the equalizer in the 2-1 win over former in the last game of the season on April 18.
This is the fourth time this season that Gueulette is nominated for player of the month award at club level. He won it in January, beating his teammates Mohammed Guindo, Fadel Gobitaka and Djibril Lamego.
