Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda’s National Paralympic Committee (NPC) has confirmed eight teams that will contest for the 2023 Heroes Day Sitting volleyball tournament scheduled for February 4-5 at Club Rafiki.
The eight teams that registered for the two-day tourney are; Gisagara, Karongi, Gasabo and Rutsiro in men’s category while women participants include Bugesera, Nyarugenge, Musanze and Gicumbi.
According to NPC technical director, Jean-Marie Vianney Nsengiyumva, only the top four teams of the last season in men and women will participate in this tournament.
Intwari za Gasabo and Bugesera will be looking to defend their titles in the respective categorie
