Africa-Press – Rwanda. A 19th minute goal from Ugandan born Ronald Ssekiganda proved decisive as APR FC defeated Mukura Victory Sports in a cagey Rwanda Premier League fourth game at Kigali Pele Stadium on Sunday, October 19.
The lone goal of the game silenced the traveling fans after poor goalkeeping from Nicholas Ssebwato who failed to clear the ball.
Hakim Kiwanuka, William Togui and Yunusu Nshimiyimana also had opportunities to score other goals military side but failed to hit the target.
On the other hand, Obed Uwumukiza and Joseph Sackey had chances for Mukura but failed to use them.
In second half Mukura also tried to attack but Mensah Boateng and Zubel Hakizimana failed to hit at the back of the net.
Boateng the thought he had pulled even for the visitors only to see his goal controversially ruled out for offside.
The win means APR FC have a 100% win rate in their last two games. They will next face Kiyovu on October 25.
