Africa-Press – Rwanda. Day Four of the 2025 UCI Road World Championships in Kigali delivered another spectacle, as the Team Time Trial Mixed Relay took center stage on Wednesday.
The race unfolded on a punishing 41.8km circuit, where every second carried the weight of national pride. Fans once again filled Kigali’s streets in their thousands, creating a wall of sound that urged on each squad battling for glory.
The contest quickly proved as fierce as it was dramatic. Australia rose to the challenge and successfully defended their world crown, stopping the clock at 54:30.47. Their narrow margin of victory came by just five seconds over Team France, while Switzerland powered home in third place, 18 seconds behind the champions.
