Africa-Press – Rwanda. Lesotho head coach Leslie Notsi says they have nothing to loose against Rwanda at Amahoro Stadium and he will come attacking from all angles.
The Crocodiles were defeated 2-0 by Bafana Bafana of South Africa on match day 5 of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers and, prior to their trip to Kigali ahead of Tuesday’s qualifier against Rwanda, Notsi said that his team will go into the game to attack.
“My team has nothing to lose and we must take the game to Rwanda,” Notsi told journalists in a post-match press conference on Friday.
Lesotho lost to Rwanda 1-0 in the first leg in June courtesy of a Jojea Kwizera strike on the stroke of half time and Notsi believes they his men will approach their game in Kigali differently.
“Having faced Rwanda before, I believe my team has better understanding of their style and we will not treat them as unknown challenge. We will go with an attacking approach,” he said.
Lesotho sits 5th on the table with 5 points from 5 games while Rwanda dropped to third place with 7 points.
