Tanzanian club Simba SC will host eleven-time CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly of Egypt on the opening day.
Le TP Mazembe, quintuple vainqueur de la Ligue des champions, jouera, le 21 octobre l’Espérance de Tunis qui compte quatre titres de la Ligue des champions africaines dont deux d’affilée en 2018 et 2019.
The first Nigerian club to win the CAF Champions League in 2004, Enyimba will face the 2023 CAF Champions League finalist, Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca and winner of the biggest club tournament in Africa in 1992.
Home and away matches are planned for this competition. The quarter-finals will take place from October 20 to 22, 2023. The return matches are scheduled for October 24 and 25.
The semi-finals are scheduled for October 29 and November 1. The finals will take place on November 5 and 11.
