Africa-Press – Senegal. The project to support the sustainable increase in the income of agricultural producers in Kolda and Sédhiou (PADRAKS), financed to the tune of one billion CFA francs by Italian cooperation, was presented to the Sédhiou regional development committee.
His presentation took place on Wednesday during an information meeting chaired by the governor in charge of development, Oumar Galla Ndiaye.

The PADRAKS, recalled Mr. Touré, is “a pilot project which operates in two regions of natural Casamance – Sédhiou and Kolda – for a period of two years”.
“ANIDA has installed twenty-nine integrated farms in total, with 300 direct jobs created and other seasonal jobs at the regional level,” he said.
The CRD meeting brought together all the actors active around the farms for discussions on the project.
