Africa-Press – Senegal. Senegal and the Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday signed a series of agreements in the aviation sector, announced the Senegalese Minister of Air Transport and Airport Infrastructure Development, Doudou Ka.

Ces accords ont été paraphés avec le président exécutif de l’Aviation civile omanaise, Naïf Ali Al-Abri, a-t-il tweeté.

‘’ C’est un partenariat inédit noué entre nos deux pays pour le développement du transport aérien entre nos deux pays’’, a-t-il souligné.

For Doudou Ka, Senegal, which “is also advancing its pawns in the Middle East, is betting on the Sultanate of Oman”, intends to “find relays and partners for its air hub”.

On the sidelines of the agreement signing ceremony, the Senegalese minister had a “fruitful working session with my Omani counterpart”, Saeed Bin Hamoud Al-Maawali, on the concretization of the agreements, in particular the partnership [between] Oman Air and Air Senegal as well as investment opportunities in Senegal, » he said, adding that this is a qualitative step that has been taken in strengthening bilateral ties » between the two States.
