The president of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) announced this Saturday that he will submit, on Monday, to Macky Sall, his letter of resignation from the presidency of the said institution.

During this week, members of the CESE office blocked its operation to make Idrissa Seck pay for declaring his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election without warning his allies of Benno Bokk Yaakaar and for having said that Macky Sall has no right to enter the race.
