Africa-Press – Senegal. Le mouvement Fekke Ma Ci Boole a annoncé la démission de son président, Youssou Ndour, de ses fonctions de ministre et de membre de la coalition Benno Bokk Yaakaar.
“The executive council [of Fekke Ma Ci Boole] demonstrates its total support [for] Youssou Ndour following his resignation from his functions as minister, advisor [to the President of the Republic], and member of the Benno Bokk Yaakaar coalition », Declares a press release from the political structure.
Youssou Ndour, after supporting the candidacy of Macky Sall in the 2012 presidential election, was appointed Minister of Culture and Tourism.
Nearly a year and a half later, he was then appointed minister, advisor to the President of the Republic.
