Africa-Press – Senegal. The coach of the Algerian football team, Djamel Belmadi, published, Friday, a list of 25 players to face the Senegal national team in an international friendly match, on September 12 next, at the Abdoulaye Wade stadium in Diamniadio.
The list, published on the official website of the Algerian Football Federation, is made up of three goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and seven attackers.
The Algerian technician called on, among others, winger Sofiane Feghouli, who plays for Fatih Karagümrük in Turkey, Riyad Mahrez (Al-Ahli FC, Saudi Arabia), Rayan Aït-Nouri from Wolverhampton, Saïd Benrahma from West Ham (English Premier League), Aïssa Mandi from Villarreal (Spanish Liga).
Belmadi also summoned Houssem Aouar, midfielder for AS Roma in the Italian Serie A.
The Fennecs will start their regrouping from Tuesday, in Tabarka, a coastal town in the northwest of Tunisia located about a hundred kilometers from Tunis.
The two teams will face each other for their tenth friendly match since 1977. The last friendly meeting between the two countries dates back to 2015, when Algeria won, 1-0, at home.
