Africa-Press – Senegal. The first semi-final of the third season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) will oppose the team of Stade Malien to the Egyptian team, Al Ahly, in Kigali.
Stade Malien won 78-69 over South Africa’s Cape Town in the quarter-finals.
In the other quarter-final held Saturday in the Rwandan capital, Al Ahly of Egypt beat Rwanda Energy Group, 94-77 in front of their home crowd.
The representative of Senegal AS Douanes, still in contention in the competition, will thus challenge, on Sunday, the Mozambicans of the Ferroviário Da Beira where the Senegalese Makhtar Guèye plays, at 2 p.m. GMT.
The last quarter-final will pit Petro de Luanda (Angola) against Abidjan Basket Club (Côte d’Ivoire) at 17:30 GMT.
