Africa-Press – Senegal. The USM Alger club (Algeria) won (2-2, aggregate score) the African Football Confederation Cup (CAF) on Saturday, at the expense of the Young Africans of Tanzania despite its defeat (0-1) on its own bases.
The Algerian team, which won 2-1 in the first leg in Tanzania a week ago, won this final thanks to the away goal rule.
With this success and the two goals scored away from home, USM Alger had already taken a good option for the coronation.
The Young Africans in turn won the return leg (1-0) in Algiers. But this score was not enough to reverse the trend.
