Africa-Press – Senegal. The vice-president of the Departmental Council of Kaffrine (center-west), Daouda Wilane, inaugurated on Monday, a multifunctional sports field at Yoro Sy Penda high school in the commune of Nganda, worth estimated at more than seventeen million CFA francs, found the APS.
« We are here to proceed with the provisional acceptance of this multifunctional ground composed of a basketball and handball court, for an amount of more than 17 million CFA francs », he said.
The vice-president of the Departmental Council of Kaffrine spoke at the inauguration ceremony, in the presence of the deputy mayor of the commune of Nganda, Mariama Ndiaye and various local and administrative authorities.
Mr. Wilane recalled that this activity is part of the promotion of education and sport in the department of Kaffrine.
The principal of the school, Bocar Diao, for his part welcomed the realization of this « old complaint which will facilitate the practice of sport for students in the establishment ».
