Africa-Press – Senegal. ASC la Linguère de Saint-Louis (second relegated in the standings with 18 points) won (2-1) on Saturday against the Sonacos team (6e, 29 points), at the Ely Manel Fall stadium in Diourbel, during the 22nd day of the national football championship, noted the APS.
It was in a sparse stadium that the two teams started hostilities, with a successful start to the match by Sonacos, sanctioned by a penalty converted in the 23rd minute of play by Nfaly Sagna.
Ten minutes later, the Saint-Louis footballers returned to the score thanks to a corner converted from the head by the striker Babacar Guèye Sène. Just a few seconds before the final whistle of the first period, the score is 2-1, on a lobbed header from Amadou Souaré. The score will remain unchanged despite the many offensive assaults from both sides.
