Africa-Press – Senegal. Olympique Lyonnais formalized, on Tuesday, on its social accounts, the arrival of Moussa Kanté and Ibrahima Fall, two Senegalese players from Dakar Sacré-Coeur, its partner club, with a view to strengthen his reserve team.
Striker Ibrahima Fall will join the French club for three seasons (until 2026), while midfielder Moussa Kanté has signed a two-season contract (2023-2025).
Les deux joueurs sénégalais, âgés de 19 ans, ‘’intégreront le groupe Pro2 (l’équipe B) à la reprise, après avoir effectué un essai en fin de saison dernière.’’
Fall est pensionnaire du Dakar Sacré-Cœur depuis la saison 2019/2020.
Trained in Dakar Sacré-Coeur since the age of 10, Kanté is one of the revelations of the Senegalese championship this season thanks to his great activity on the ground. He won the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in February 2023, with Senegal.
Ibrahima Fall and Moussa Kanté bring to six the number of Dakar Sacré-Coeur players to have joined Lyon since the start of the partnership between the two teams in 2015. The collaboration has been extended in 2021 for three seasons.
