Africa-Press – Senegal. The president of the Senegalese Volleyball Federation, Amadou Sèye, announced Wednesday to APS that he had been appointed referee coach, trainer of coaches, for the African Championship scheduled from 1 to 14 September in Egypt.

« I have been appointed referee coach for this edition of the African Volleyball Championship. My role will be to supervise and appoint the official referees during this competition, » he said.

Mr. Sèye, member of the African Commission of Referees, and the Moroccan Jaouad Berrada are the referee coaches chosen for the continental competition.

Twenty countries, including Senegal, will take part in the 24th edition of the African Volleyball Championship.

Les autres participants sont l’Algérie, le Cameroun, le Congo, le Ghana, la Guinée, l’Éthiopie, le Kenya, la Libye, le Mali, le Maroc, le Nigeria, le Rwanda, le Soudan du Sud, la Tanzanie, le Tchad, la Tunisie et la Zambie.
