Africa-Press – Seychelles. n the occasion of the 28th edition of the Semaine de la Francophonie, with the theme ‘321 million French speakers and billions of cultural contents’, the Alliance Française des Seychelles organized a unique artistic event.

The exhibition ‘Francophonie from here and elsewhere’ brings together 18 artists residing in the Seychelles. These renowned artists have created for the occasion a unique work reflecting their own vision of the Francophonie. The 19 works hung, and presented during the opening this Monday, March 20, invite you to discover the design and perception of each of them.

Intermingle various artistic currents, an infinity of colors and conceptions of the Francophonie all as diverse and unique as each other. This exhibition highlights the richness of French-speaking artistic creativity in the Seychelles. Francophonie is the shared French language but it is also cultural diversity, very well represented in the exhibition ‘Francophonie from here and elsewhere’. The works are exhibited on the 1st floor of the Alliance Française des Seychelles until April 21. A QR code facilitates the discovery of artists and their works.

The artists participating in this exhibition are Caleb Siméon, Zsaklin Miklos, Daniel Dodin, Joëlle Fabre, James Agricole, Charles Dodo, Urny Mathiot, Robert Alexis, Joshua Nourrice, Christian Treguer, Ryan Chetty, Colbert Nourrice, Doris Nourrice, Joannes Knowles, Camille Mondon, Egbert Marday, Léon Radegonde, Jude Ally and Martin Kennedy.
