Africa-Press – Seychelles. Magistrate court dismisses case against Ralph Volcère
The Anse Royale Magistrate’s Court yesterday dismissed the criminal prosecution case against Ralph Volcère, editor and owner of The Seychelles Independent.
Mr Volcère was arrested at his home in April 2024 in a night-time operation carried out by a unit of the police described in court records and media reports as an anti-terrorism unit, after he photographed and recorded cargo aircraft at the Seychelles International Airport unloading cargo without proper Customs clearance and security checks.
