Africa-Press – Seychelles. The participants of the sport component of the Seychellois delegation for the 9th Games of La Francophonie set foot on Congolese soil yesterday, a day after the arrival of their compatriots from the cultural component.
They joined athletes from several French-speaking countries in the Games village.
After a day spent with the administrative procedures, after the lunch break the participants from different countries began to train for the competitions which will start this Thursday on the different game sites. The Seychellois participants are ready for these events as well as the other groups.
The Seychelles sports delegation returned to the Games village yesterday morning.
In terms of site preparation, the International Organization of La Francophonie and the host country Congo have worked hard to accomplish all the tasks so that the Games take place peacefully.
